I am currently working towards school receiving my Bachelor's of Liberal Studies at the University of Phoneix. I have completed some Early Childhood Education Units after high school at Santa Monica College. Since then I have worked with children ages 0-14. I have been a Nanny, Preschool Teacher, Camp Counselor, Art Teacher, Fashion Design Teacher (I got my certification in high school to be a garment tailor), Before and After School Tutor (all subjects), and Reading Tutor. I love putting the fun in fundamental with my teaching, I am very creative and love doing things outside of the box. I am currently tutoring Elementary Math and Reading, Math, Reading, and English. I put an emphasis on teaching reading especially to younger children because it is so vital in life to be able to read concepts, understand them and comprehend them. I was able to read at 4 years old and I remember the joy I would experience beginning a new book and escaping into my own world.
