Hi! I am Abir, a freshman at UNC. I am double majoring in biochemistry and neuroscience with a planned minor in mathematics. My dream is to attend medical school and become a surgeon. As a recent high school graduate, I know all too well the struggles and stresses of being a high-achieving student aiming for the very best college acceptances. It is because I know this feeling so well that I want to help in any way I can.
I was the head SAT Math Tutor for a program called SMATH Tutors over the summer of 2020. I have a wealth of experience in chemistry and mathematics, and I want to share that with you. I truly fell in love with tutoring when I saw how much of a difference I could make on even a student's attitude towards learning, not just their results. Learning truly is a gift, and sharing that is one of my core driving passions.
