Certified Tutor

I've always had two great loves: teaching and anything related to English Literature. I've been blessed with the opportunity to teach English Language Arts for the past 6 years and am now excited to provide help and support to students as a tutor! I have experience teaching all grades 6 - 12. Currently, I teach varying levels of 10th and 12th grade students. My 10th grade Honors course is focused on British Literature and my 12th grade Academic class is a World Literature course. Within these courses, we do an in-depth study and analysis of various texts from Shakespeare to contemporary readings.

I have a degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and am currently working towards my Masters in Education for Secondary English.

As an educator, it is important to me to provide students with the tools they need to be successful on their own. I love assisting students in the writing process - whether it be a traditional 5-paragraph essay or an intensive research paper.

I can't wait to assist students as they grow in their education - I hope my passion for literature, writing, and education will be of great value to many!
