I am thrilled to introduce myself as an experienced tutor with a strong background in teaching students from preschool through 5th grade. Over the past four years, I've had the privilege of working as both a teacher and a tutor, honing my skills to help students excel in reading, writing, and comprehension. Now, I'm excited to continue working independently to support students in achieving their academic goals.
I earned my education at Florida State College of Jacksonville, where I took courses in English and writing, giving me an advanced understanding of how to teach these essential subjects. Additionally, my studies in child development and teaching prepared me to pursue an early childhood degree, which I'm currently completing. Throughout my journey, I've been fortunate to teach and tutor while continuing my education, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

My teaching philosophy is simple yet powerful: I believe in creating a warm, patient, and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to push through challenges and unlock their full potential. I love tutoring reading comprehension, reading, and writing areas where I feel especially passionate about helping students grow and succeed. My approach blends patience with motivation, so students feel supported but also empowered to face academic hurdles head-on.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy painting, journaling, and spending time with my dog. I'm also a huge fan of Marvel superheroes and aim to become my own version of a superhero by inspiring and guiding students to achieve greatness in their learning journey.
