Tutoring started informally in high school when I helped my friends with their math homework. Since then, I have found joy in helping everyone see their potential and abilities. I taught HS math for 14 years, and I am currently teaching adult students preparing to take the GED. I earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Towson University in 2003 and a Masters of Education from Concordia University in 2011. Throughout my acquisition of education, I have helped classmates and tutored other students informally. My experience has prepared me to help others translate mathematical concepts and Identify areas of struggle.
I tutor all MATH LEVELS up to and including Pre-Calculus. My philosophy is that I have a desire to create an atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. My goal is to provide a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
