I am currently working on completing my final year of medical school to obtain my M.D. This journey has taken me from the Caribbean islands where I was trained in the basic sciences and then to Texas where I am completing my clinical rotations in the hospitals. Since my time on the island, I have been able to help my fellow students to unlock their inner capability by tutoring medical microbiology and giving one on one advice and practice scenarios for other subjects such as physiology and pathology. So if you are seeking help with USMLE Step 1 preparation, I am willing to assist you on your path to success! To me, the evidence that you have learned a concept is when you are capable of teaching it to another person, regardless of their previous knowledge of that subject. As I help another student learn, they are being equipped to accomplish their academic goals and I am strengthening and deepening my understanding of the field- and that is the double-sided beauty of teaching that I value.
