Certified Tutor

I love teaching all subjects, but my passion is reading. I have been a teacher for 10 years and was an intern student before that. I also worked after school to tutor kids in math and reading.

Education has always been a passion of mine. I love helping students and seeing the light bulb go off when they finally master a skill or concept.

I have a Bachelors degree in elementary education with a reading and ESOL endorsement. My reading endorsement allows me to teach reading up to 12th grade. I am currently finishing up my master's degree in curriculum & Instruction.

My subjects I can tutor are Reading from K-12, Math K-6, Science K-6, and Social Studies K-6. I also have experience in agriculture.

My style of tutoring is working together with the student and meeting them where they are at. I like to break things down and find new approaches to help the learn the skill. It is my belief that all students can learn, some just learn differently than others.

Outside of Teaching, I enjoy spending my free time on the ranch I live on with my family or traveling.
