I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism as well as Medical Anthropology. Since graduation, I have worked as a journalist for the Centre Daily Times as well as Research/Penn State . I have edited numerous papers and newsletters, including Clinton Times, Citizens Voice, and Truck Stop Newsletter. After homeschooling my son for ten years, I started tutoring the children of others in a broad range of subjects ranging from Grammar to Science to Writing to Prepping for Standardized Tests. I have worked as an ESL tutor with students in China over the past five years. I am most passionate about English, as I believe once you know how to read, you can learn anything. With knowledge, you can improve your quality of life. In my spare time, I love to cook and am active in my church, and enjoy writing; I am working on my second book!
