I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and minored in Sociology. After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree I attended Southern New Hampshire University where I obtained a Master's Degree in Psychology. While obtaining both degree's I focused on research methods and data analysis.
I became passionate about teaching while homeschooling my children for a few years due to both of my children being special needs. I believe I am highly competent in my teaching skills because once my children returned to public school they scored above average in all subjects.
My favorite subjects to teach are psychology and sociology. When teaching I believe being able to understand and relate to the subject increases the retention rate which has been proven in cognitive psychology to increase recall. I do believe this form of teaching is beneficial in all subject matters including admission tests.
