I am a graduate of Life University. I obtained my degrees in Theology and Education. I also have a Child Development Associate degree.
I have worked in Special Education, in classrooms, churches in Children's Ministry with 160 children and 90 leaders.
I have also done home education of 2 A.D.D. children; worked in a Preschool and online teaching ESL in other countries and Texas A&M.
I am passionate about teaching children to read and having a strong reading foundation. I love teaching and have been teaching for over 34 years. In my experience, when children are taught to read well, they open the world to themselves and others. I can relate to your child is dealing with, as an overcomer, I have learned how to learn and how to make it stick, but in an easy, gentle way that is also enjoyable.
My family and I love to travel and have traveled extensively for many years.
