I taught math in Middle School, High School, and College level. Additionally, I taught summer programs like GEAR UP and Summer Institute for the Gifted and did private tutoring. I started teaching Business Math, Statistics and Calculus, but quickly realized that foundational mathematics was what a lot of my students needed. Some were told that math was hard, others had elementary teachers that were scared of math themselves, and still others did not have good experiences with the content. But, together, we can overcome all that!

I believe, and know, that each child is able to learn and be good at math! We need to build their skills and confidence. A patient teacher is needed, as well as a creative approach to teaching the concepts. The teacher should not be a lecturer but a coach that helps the child discover the path to the answer.
