I am able to help students of all ages in Language Arts (Reading/Writing) and Social Studies/History. I am a retired Middle School teacher with 35 years of public school experience. I have a BA in Sociology with certification in Elementary Education (1-8), Reading Endorsement (PreK-12), and a Masters in Education (Curriculum and Classroom Management). I am a motivated teacher for the Learning Disabled, providing comprehensive instruction to students in a supportive environment. Adept at working within students' limitations, I help students set and achieve attainable goals. I have many years of experience in teaching students with physical, emotional, and neurological issues. I enjoy working with students on helping them show their best efforts and to achieve success in their academic endeavors.
