Certified Tutor

I am currently a college student at Florida State University. I have received my Associate's degree in April of 2021, and am working on earning my Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology. I have been surrounded by children throughout my life and I have found it a passionate of mine to work with them. During my High School years, I participated in an Elementary School internship through my Childhood Education course. I worked with children in Kindergarten, as well as, Fourth grade students with special needs. When I worked with various students, I found it rewarding in the sense that I was able to see them flourish. They all felt some level of comfortability to ask me questions or ask for my help in regards to math equations, reading passages, or writing assignments. In addition to this internship, my Childhood Education course allowed me to train and take examinations to become DCF certified. By me becoming DCF certified, I feel able to fully comprehend a young child's mind and am able to adequately interact with children in an understanding manner in regards to their education and personality.
