I have spent my life in some of the most magical places: books! From a young age, I had a passion for reading and a zest for knowledge. Ask my mom, and she'll be happy to tell you that I was grabbing books and scribbling with a pen before I could walk.

The pen transformed into a keyboard as I worked on the high school newspaper and tutored students in reading/ essay writing. Then, in a place nicknamed the Hogwarts of Florida, I studied the magic of the written word. In December 2019, I graduated from Flagler College with a BA in English, Creative Writing Concentration.

I currently spend my days teaching fourth graders reading! One of my favorite parts of the day is when a students makes a connection or asks to borrow a book from the classroom library! My biggest goal as a teacher is to instill a love of learning and books in my students!

When I am not in the classroom, I can be found on the beach with a good book, watching Marvel movies with my dog, or visiting parks and museums with friends.
