Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from the Cornell University School of Engineering. Based on my strong academic record, I was able to accelerate the completion of my Master of Business Administration (MBA) in just one additional year, also at Cornell. Upon graduation, I applied my knowledge as a management consultant to Fortune 500 companies in many different industries, primarily in the role as a process and profit improvement specialist. I then joined an investment firm which was pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence to managing client portfolios. For those unfamiliar with Operations Research, it is generally defined as the application of advanced analytics, primarily mathematics based, to make better business decisions. As a result, I believe Algebra is essential to long-term mathematics learning, knowledge, and personal success. Therefore, while I am available to assist in many subject areas, my tutoring focus is on helping any age student excel at Algebra and the fundamentals of mathematics.

I like to think of myself as a golfer even though I don't get to play very often. I am an avid sports fan, particularly for the teams in my area of Florida, now known as (at least temporarily) as Champa Bay (Tampa Bay)!
