I am a graduate of Utah Valley University. I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I recently graduated from Western Governor's University with a Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. For the past 8 years, I have been working in elementary schools; two years I was working as an aide in a special education classroom, and the remainder of the time I have been teaching fourth grade. I am confident in and enjoy teaching all areas of elementary school curricula. My favorite areas to teach are math and reading comprehension. My teaching philosophy centers around helping students drive their learning, learn to ask good questions, and develop a love for learning. I'm passionate about helping students learn what their passions are as well as learning to love learning. In my spare time, I love watching movies, baking, and reading.
