My name is Zack and I have a BS and MS in Biology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ and have consistently been involved in conducting and writing scientific/medical research since 2016. Currently, my wife and I live in Upstate NY where we are both currently second-year medical students (MS2) and are about to begin our clinical rotations in Michigan in the Fall. I have joined the Varsity team because I have been a student that struggled and needed help in the past, so I can empathize with and appreciate the desire students have to want to improve. Through my past tutoring and teaching experiences over the last 7 years, I have loved seeing students finally grasp a concept they've had difficulties with, start enjoying what they're learning, and feeling confident in their knowledge and abilities. As I love having opportunities to serve students from all disciplines, I have mostly worked in academic coaching and graduate school preparation for pre-health majors. I am so excited to see how I can be of assistance to students that have the desire to improve and strive to take that initiative. It brings me a lot of joy to see students achieve their goals and feel confident in doing so.
