I received my bachelor's degree in special education adapted curriculum from East Carolina University. . I have recently received my Master's Degree in Curriculum Instruction from Western Governor's University. I have taught special education for students with moderate to severe and profound disabilities for the past nine years. I have also worked at a children's hospital. As a hospital teacher, I worked with students in grades k-12 and helped them keep up with their assignments during their stay. I currently teach students with Autism. I enjoy working with students with learning differences and helping them realize what strategies and techniques work the best for them. I believe every student can learn, and that some students just need help finding the best way that they learn.
