I attended the University of Rochester for my undergraduate degree, and traveled to the Netherlands to complete my Master's of Science degree at Utrecht University in behavioral neuroscience. I am currently a DVM/PhD student at UC Davis, though in the past I was also accepted to an MD/PhD program, and have taken the MCAT. I enjoy teaching students, and for my PhD am a teaching assistant for several classes, mostly psychology to biology classes. My eventual career goal is to be a clinician scientist, including teaching students and eventually residents alongside my clinical work and research.

I have been teaching since high school, first young children at piano, then in college coaching an all-girls running team as well as being a teaching assistant for both Ecology and Organic Chemistry Lab. Recently, I have been tutoring Biological Psychology to college students, and will continue to teach extensively during my doctoral studies. I am a native speaker of three languages, English, Ukrainian and Polish. I additionally schooled myself in French, Spanish and Latin in high school and continued Spanish through college. I am currently offering lessons from high school essay writing, English, Biology, Psychology, Neuroscience, and anything in between from high school to college level and beyond. I am also offering tutoring on standardized testing including the Behavioral Sciences section on the MCAT. Additionally, I am offering lessons on study strategies as well as time management and research skills, as these are extremely useful skills for succeeding in academics. I believe in an individualized teaching approach, where I get to know each student on a personal level and try to best meet their individual needs, no matter the topic.
