Welcome, I am a Graduate Assistant at Louisiana State University. I am nearing the completion of my master's degree in Oceanography and will enroll in the PhD program following that. I have two bachelor's degrees, Geoscience and Applied Mathematics.
It is my job to not only help you understand the material that you need to, but more importantly, to find a way to make you passionate about learning.
I have found that not every student learns the same way so, I am tasked with discovering how you learn best and teach you the material that way. This ensures that you not only know the material for tests but to also show you how it can be applied to your life and your future goals.

Hobbies

My interests revolve around my research. This includes oceanographic processes, using side scan sonar, bathymetry and sub-bottom profiling along with sediment analysis. I am also interested in astronomy and particle physics. My hobbies are centered around family time. This includes beach trips, camping, hiking and trips to the mountains to spend time in nature.
