I love teaching and have been in the profession for nearly 13 years. My specialty is the biological sciences including (Life Sciences, Zoology, Molecular Biology, General Biology).
Some areas that I enjoy tutoring include anatomy & physiology, cell cycle, and metabolism. I also have experience preparing students for the ACT Test (Reading, English, Science, and Math). I use a variety of techniques to improve student success including (1) encouragement, (2) demonstrations, (3) practice drills, (4) hands-on activities, and (5) games.

I have experience teaching online, hybrid or blended, and face-to-face. As well, I am currently working on my teacher's certification in Biology for 9-12 grade. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of New Orleans and a Ph.D. in Cellular Physiology & Molecular Biophysics from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
