This is my first year tutoring for Varsity but I have more than 10 years of experience teaching kids, teens, and adults.
I grew up in Mexico and I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
I absolutely love teaching Spanish because it helps me to show my students the beauty of the language and the richness of my culture.
I hope you will love Spanish language as much as I do!

The primary methodologies I use are conversations-based and TPRS.
The first one is based on conversations. I believe that once you start speaking basic and useful conversational phrases in Spanish it will be easier for you to understand the grammar.
The second methodology is called TPRS (Total Physical Response Storytelling). In simple words, it means that we use mimics, facial gestures, vocal tones, stories, songs, and games. It is one of the easiest ways to learn a new language and at the same time have fun.
Some of my favorite hobbies are
* Travel around the world and learn about different cultures.
* Cook and bake are also on the top 3 that's why this year I started to share on social media my favorite recipes I learned during my trips.
* Taking pictures is one of my biggest passions and maybe during our class, I will be able to show you some of them.
