My 14 years of international education- along with my B.S. in Anthropology, my M.Ed. in IB Education, my MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen, and my long list of professional development certifications (mostly theatre-based)- have provided me with the opportunity to meet and work with a wide array of students with distinct approaches to learning.

As an IBDP Theatre teacher, I have coached dozens of students from all over the world navigate the complex curriculum and come out the other side with flying colors. My directing has been critically lauded, and my acting intensive and voice coaching workshops for professionals in Russia, Kenya, and Armenia are in demand.

I feel that my practice has evolved with the hundreds of students I have coached, with my primary focus always being to listen to what the student needs most, and that has led to helping many high school students reach their dream university goals, including admission to the Ivy Leagues, and graduate hopefuls also attain admission to their top program choice.

At the heart of all of my teaching is English- its complexities, its boundaries, and its abilities to resonate throughout the world. I seek: to coach my students to bring out their best personal statements for university applications; to strategize with my students as they formulate questions and flesh out research; and to guide them through standardized Critical Reading assessments so they can give their best on the day.

When not teaching, I'm traveling, narrating audiobooks, writing plays, cooking, renovating my house, reading, and raising my family.
