My name is Lisa and I have been a nurse for 16 years. I have earned my master's degree in nursing and work as an adjunct faculty member at two local universities because I enjoy precepting new nurses and teaching students. I love to watch the light bulbs turn on and see students make connections between what they learn in class and their practice in real healthcare settings! I believe that a strong foundational knowledge of pathophysiology, theory, and evidence-based practice is important to help students and new nurses make the best decisions in the clinical setting.
