Certified Tutor

I am a first-generation professional student and alumna of Mills College. I graduated in 2018 with a BA in Public Health and Health Equity Studies and received a certificate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management in 2020. I'm a certified EMT and full-time student and aspire to become a family nurse practitioner.

My earliest experiences in health education and tutor were as an instructional assistant in local CPR classes starting in 2013. Seven years later, I tutored undergraduate students of all ages and academic paths in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Patient Assessment, and Medical Sociology. I also provided test prep and application coaching for the TEAS, HESI, and NREMT to over 50 students since 2018.

I firmly believe that promoting health equity begins with ensuring that our future health care providers' education is high-quality and accessible to all. As such, you can expect all of my sessions to be individually tailored to your needs and planned with Universal Design in mind.
