We are all lifelong learners but how each of us learn is very different. I have always worked hard to adapt to every student's needs. I received my Bachelors of Science from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas with endorsements in Family & Consumer Education for middle/high school. I enjoy challenging students to do or accomplish things they typically don't think they are capable of doing. Whether reading a longer paragraph fluently, spelling a 3 syllable word correctly or baking a dessert, succeeding is key for that hunger to learn. I truly believe learning life skills is still very important especially in our fast paced world we live in. Having confidence in ourselves is crucial to our overall happiness and success in life. I teach because I love it so I feel like I don't really work a day in my life!

Hobbies

Currently, I live in Utah where the outdoors is the place to be. I enjoy bike riding, snow skiing and sitting on my porch in a comfortable chair reading a good book. I keep busy indoors as well cooking, sewing and reading even more. My passion is my family. I love it when we are all able to get together for a great meal and lively conversation. My grandchildren are blessings and keep me young at heart.
