I am a journalist based in New York City with reporting experience across a wide variety of beats including politics, culture, sustainability and finance, among others.

I graduated from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism last summer, where I earned a Master of Science in Journalism degree and specialized in politics, policy and foreign affairs. Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College with a year spent abroad at the University of Oxford with concentrations in Political Science, Global History and Journalism.

Though journalism and writing is my chosen career path, I have a strong foundation in Mathematics and spent much of my school years competing in national and local Math competitions (alongside a brief internship spent at NASA's Kennedy Space Center engaging in robotics design). Before I began my graduate degree, I worked as a full-time teaching associate at Success Academy Charter Schools, where I served as a lead Mathematics instructor and academic advisor to Grade 8 students. Aside from teaching and curating scholar-targeted assignments, I also helped design curriculum for the STEM department.

Beyond academics, I'm an avid bookworm, a curious globetrotter and a big food enthusiast!
