I am a recent graduate of Missouri Western University. I received my Master's in Building Leadership from there, but I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Missouri. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in first grade, so I am very passionate about helping students. I have been an Elementary Teacher for five years now. I know most students learn in different ways and I don't believe that should cause them to fall behind, so I love how tutoring allows me to teach in the way that works best for each child. I tutor all subjects for grades K-4, but my favorite to teach is reading. Reading is necessary for every subject, so I love having the chance to work with students on their reading skills. My teaching style is very student-centered. I know what needs to be taught, but I adjust the way I am teaching it to fit the needs of the student I am working with. In my spare time, I enjoy running outside, working on things around my house, and relaxing in my backyard.
