I have successfully coached many students to meet their academic goals and reduce test anxiety on standardized examinations. I graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a major in Physics and Geology. I enjoyed working on beautiful volcanic islands, swimming, hiking and trying new adventures. My work at a Seismic Research Center provided a wealth of information and experiences that I incorporate in the lessons. As a former Teacher of the Year, I have 18 years of teaching experience and I have learned a variety of strategies to improve student understanding. I am able to tutor High School and College Physics, Earth and Space Science, Physical Science, Teacher Certification Tests (Praxis, GACE Science) and all Middle School Science courses.

I am committed to providing you a personalized tutoring experience. I listen to the challenges students face. In our sessions, I will check for student understanding, explain concepts, improve test taking strategies and make the material relevant and relatable.

Along with loving the outdoors, I love music, Sudoku and Word puzzles, action movies, soccer and watching track and field.
