Hello, My name is Melissa Schalles, MS, LVT and I am a licensed veterinary technician in Nevada. I recently retired after over 15 years, from the College of Southern Nevada's Veterinary Nursing Program, where I was administrative faculty. I was the clinic manager of the on campus veterinary clinic as well as, charged with assisting students during the learning process. I advised and mentored many veterinary nursing/technician program students during their 2 years, and assisted with their studies for the VTNE. I have a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Colorado State University, and a Master's degree in Workforce Education/Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I would love to assist you in your studies for the Veterinary Technician National Examination, and guide you along your career path to the profession of a Veterinary Technician/Nurse.
