I graduated from Lincoln University, PA in 2019. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. During my gap year, I tutored an amazing group of 7th and 8th graders in math. I'm currently an Urban Teachers Math Resident, studying to earn a Masters in Secondary Math Education from Johns Hopkins University. I joined the Urban Teachers program because I want to promote math literacy. I often heard my former students say, "I'm just not good at math." I am dedicated to eliminating the idea of a "math gene." If you study hard in math, you can and will do well.
