I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee -- Go Vols! I have a passion for helping students of all ages understand new concepts and study techniques. My tutoring approach centers around empowering the students I work with to use the building blocks they already possess to further their understanding of a subject or concept. Some of my favorite words to hear from students in response to conquering a challenging skill are, "I never even thought I'd understand this, and now I'm a pro at it!," and "wow, that's all? I can totally do this on my own!" I feel confident teaching on any K-12 academic level or subject; however, my specialty areas are Math and English.
