Hello and Welcome! I am a proud graduate of Spelman College where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Relations. Upon graduating from Spelman, I obtained a Masters of Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. In January of 2022, I began my academic quest as a scholar-practitioner in Vanderbilt University's Leadership and Learning in Organizations (LLO) doctoral program. Since 2022, I have completed my doctoral studies and have been invited to join leading institutions in the UAE, China, and beyond!


Literacy (English Language Arts) and foreign Languages are my passions. I am bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently! As a world traveler, this skill has been extremely useful, especially for my regular travels to Spain, Cuba, and other Spanish-speaking countries. I am a certified Middle School Humanities educator for grades 5-8 and have been tutoring learners from the elementary level all the way to the graduate level since 2015! I am committed to my students' growth and success and strive to give them a personalized learning experience in which they can see their growth and emerge as confident scholars.

I am a firm believer in assessing students' individual needs and challenging them to challenge themselves through inquiry, practice, and hands-on learning. Essay writing, creative writing, and close reading are skills in which my scholars develop mastery. In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, going for walks, and reading!
