Certified Tutor
I am currently studying Philosophy at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. I am enrolled in an accelerated Master's Program so I will receive a B.A and an M.A in four years (two years early!). Obviously, these days my academic interests are philosophy based but I am also an avid reader and I love history. My truest passion is writing of all kinds so, during the school year, I work part-time as a writing tutor in my university's library working with folks at all levels of their undergraduate or graduate careers to improving their writing and communication skills in general. Growing up, I was slow to learn how to read and write and it felt so frustrating; I wrote so hard and so fast my work was entirely illegible. Since then, writing has become a personal, creative, and academic outlet for me and I want to share my passion for writing with other students. I approach tutoring as a partnership in which both the tutor and the tutee can learn from each other and have fun.

Outside of school, I love to run and I was a nationally competive rock climber throughout highschool. These days I climb recreationally at a gym in Washington, D.C. Being outdoors as much as possible is always a goal and while in D.C I love to walk, visit the cities many wonderful parks, and explore cute coffee shops and restaurants. I am foodie and a big reader/movie buff. More specifically within philosophy, I am interested in feminist ethics and the intersections of law and theory
