Certified Tutor

I am a senior student at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. I passed AMPLE part I and II, I graduated from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in New Jersey in May 2019 with a degree in Biological Sciences.

I have worked for a support program for pre-medical students at Rutgers University for the last five years. I have helped others in college succeed in biology, chemistry, and biochemistry. I have tutored biology, algebra and english at a local high school during my senior year at college.

Biology, biochemistry, and algebra are my favorite subjects to tutor because I am confident in my knowledge to help my students in these subjects. I received AP credits for Calculus and had A grades on my biology classes in college. I truly believe that confidence in the subject matter is essential to be a great tutor. However, I am open to be challenged by my students. I focus more on the topics that students need the most help. One of my favorite teaching technique is simply asking students to teach me what they have learned.

Teaching is never one sided. As a tutor, I am here to assist in content review and answering questions. I am also willing to listen to both positive and negative feedback from students.
