Certified Tutor

I love watching students progress, seeing someone go from being very confused and stress to understanding and confident is very satisfying to me. I have been a student mentor at Brigham Young University - Idaho for about four semesters now and love setting goals with and helping students succeed in college. I also helped teach a course called "college success" It was a one credit course where we would teach new student study skills, test taking skills, time management, etc. Right now I'm a junior at Brigham Young University- Idaho studying Bio-medical Science. I tutor Physics, Biology, and Genetics. These are by far my favorite to study and tutor because they are visible and exciting. I find the best way to study and tutor is to teach it to someone and to draw it out by yourself. I love learning about the body and how it works.
