Certified Tutor
I'm a language nerd and travel enthusiast with a dual degree in English and French from Johns Hopkins University. I have three years of professional tutoring and teaching experience, first as a Study Consultant in college and now as an English teaching assistant in France. My process is highly personalized: my priority is getting to know my students so that I can accurately identify the aspects of the material that are the most difficult for them. After we identify these aspects, I tailor solutions to help them surmount these difficulties. I like my students to take an active role in this process, and frequently ask them to assess whether the solutions I've offered are effective, so that I can modify those that aren't. My goal is to get to know each individual's style of learning so that we can capitalize on your strengths. I look forward to working with you!

I'm a huge francophile, in case it wasn't obvious! I've recently returned to my hometown, Atlanta, after spending seven months working in Toulouse, France, and I will be returning to France in the fall. In my free time, I've been reading the French translations of the Harry Potter series to continue progressing in the language. I'm conversationally fluent, working towards bilingual! Outside of French, I love language learning in general, and have been working on developing my third language--Spanish--by watching Cable Girls on Netflix. Learning languages makes me feel like more of the world is open to me :)
