Hi!
My name is Vikas and I am excited to be a tutor. I am currently a third year medical student with NYITCOM at the Arkansas campus but I am doing my rotations in Memphis, TN. I would love to tutor students along the way on whichever path they may be headed on. My focus in tutoring is based on making sure the student feels comfortable and understood as they are working hard towards understanding, memorizing, and applying concepts. I employ this workflow (understanding --> memorizing --> applying) in my daily life as well as I learn concepts for medical school and would love to share it with students. I am an avid flash card user as this has helped me in school thus far. My other focus is being relatable to students as I've been in their shoes. I aspire to help students feel comfortable even with difficult concepts along the way and hopefully serve as a mentor.
