Certified Tutor

My experience as an educator includes developing and presenting STEM programs for museums, classrooms, and public education spaces as well as one-on-one tutoring, online tutoring, and small group sessions. I have worked with over 150 students (including adult learners) in the Cincinnati area and have online students from all over the world! I love working with different people from so many different and interesting backgrounds.

My teaching approach incorporates active and inquiry based learning techniques to guide students to their goals. I understand that some students require different resources than others and I strive to provide these resources to each and every student.

I regularly attend education symposiums and training workshops for teaching K-12 students in the STEMs and am constantly discovering new inspirations and incorporating creative ideas and approaches to all of my lessons. I sincerely love sharing my excitement and enthusiasm with every student; I love what I teach and I love teaching it!

I have degrees/certifications in Anthropology and Archaeology, Public Education and Outreach, Museum Studies- Exhibit Design, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I am currently enrolled in an accelerated degree program with the University of Cincinnati for a BS in Mathematics.

I am also a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati and work with local organizations' outreach events.

Other interests of mine include video games, mountain biking, anime, pub science, mentoring, science fiction, hiking, playing cello, and stand up paddle boarding.
