Certified Tutor

I am a 15 year veteran educator with a passion for watching students learn and grow. I received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in communications from the University of North Florida. I have a Masters degree in Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In my years as a teacher, I have helped students of all levels find success in the classroom and on standardized tests. I find that getting to know a student as an individual is one of the best ways to help a student progress and grow. I am able to tutor a variety of subjects, and I am most excited about English, literature and writing. I believe being able to communicate effectively through writing is the foundation to learning and I love to watch students grow in the area. In my spare time I like to read good books, sing and occasionally travel.
