Certified Tutor

There are more non native speakers of English language in the world than there are native speakers. As an Iranian-American immigrant, I am one of the many. I have lived in the US for most of my adult life. As such am fluent in both English and Persian languages.

I have a PhD in Communication, an MFA in Film Studies, a BA in English Literature, and a few other degrees. I have experience working in the academia as well as in corporate America. My recent teaching assignments were in China, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates.

I am a nature and animal lover. I enjoy hiking, walking, swimming, reading, dancing, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Recently I have adapted plant based diet and am having lots of fun as I come up with new recipes.

I am passionate about cultural diversity and inclusion. I am a firm believer in the primacy of nature. I know that kindness is the way to a peaceful world.
