Before the pandemic , I had been a long-term substitute teacher for several years.
Nothing gives me more satisfaction than having the opportunity to work with a student one on one.
Having experienced students understanding a concept for the first time, and watching how that excitement leads to an overall increase in their confidence, which in turn leads to improvement in the classroom, is very rewarding.
I also enjoy the challenge of finding "just the right way" to engage with a new student so they never "feel dumb or embarrassed " about information they don't know.
The quicker I can establish a safe and trusting learning environment for them, the quicker we can start achieving our goals!

Hobbies

I have an interest in learning as much as I can when it comes to the medical explanation of diseases,conditions, etc. I enjoy learning about their symptoms and available treatments. I find anything about anatomy and physiology of great interest. As far as hobbies are concerned I love to grow flowers and different plants, as well as relaxation coloring.
