My name is Penny and I am a retired educator. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Language Based Learning Disabilities. I have done many things during my 30 years in education from classroom teacher to high school principal. I have also worked in administration at the community college level. With all these opportunities, I think my favorite is the time I have spent one-on-one with students helping them learn to read and understand what they have read. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and certified and not only have I used OG extensively but I have taught other teachers to use OG. I am excited about having the ability to continue my work with students who learn differently.
