Certified Tutor
I am a postdoctoral scholar at Northwestern University researching renewable materials. I received my BA in chemistry from Cornell University in 2013 and completed my PhD in polymer chemistry in 2018 from Stanford University. At Stanford, I won several teaching awards both at the departmental and university level for my work as a TA. I'm excited to tutor students of all levels in chemistry!
In my mind, succeeding in chemistry isn't about memorizing equations or reactions. Chemistry is learning a new language. It's mastering a new way of approaching the world. My focus when tutoring is to help students break through the barriers when speaking this new language!
When I'm not in the lab, I enjoy playing Pokemon, going to the gym, writing, and eating.
