Certified Tutor

I am an elementary educator with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education/English from UT Arlington. I also have a masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. I was a classroom teacher for 3rd and 5th grades before homeschooling my children. After they began college, I became a tutor and then the assistant director at a learning center in Fort Worth. I now focus entirely on tutoring. My expertise is in phonics and reading, but I enjoy tutoring most subjects through 6th grade. I love interaction with my students; I enjoy learning their strengths and helping their weaknesses. In fact, tutoring is my favorite thing to do, when I'm not babysitting with my grandkids! There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student who has been struggling in an area gain confidence and success!
