Hello, My name is Zainab. I am an Associate Researcher at Mount Sinai ; a recent undergrad with 5 years of research experience. I have 9+ years of childcare/mentoring experience with primary age children - HS seniors. My personal philosophy is that timing is personal so hard-work and patience go hand in hand.
While some approaches will be result-oriented , others will focus on the comfortably/confidence of the student in themselves as a student. Thus you will find me to give a lot of positive affirmation. However, I'm firm and believe in creating accountability in students through pop up questions ,practice and conversation.
*Implement practices and Aid primary age children with reading and math
*Tutored HS students in Regents prep in Math, Science , Humanities, etc + assistance in College Process including Essay writing
I will guide and assist in classwork and homework completion. Furthermore I assist in planning and executing practices meant to advance intellectual and emotional learning skills
