Certified Tutor

I am 24 years old. I just graduated from Kansas State University with a masters in Operations Research. I also have a bachelor's in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.

I worked my way through college as a tutor through the university, working one on one with students from all walks of life. The one semester that I wasn't tutoring I was a teaching assistant for a physics class.

Being a teacher/tutor is one of the great joys of my life. I have made it one of my life's goals to be the best instructor I can be. To complete this goal I have been doing research into teaching methods for the past few years. Fortunately, most of my family are or were teachers. I often go to them for advice on becoming a better educator.

Since as early as 3rd grade I have dreamed of getting a PhD. That is why I am going to continue my education at Kansas State University this Fall.

I have ADHD and Asperger's so I can especially relate to any student who has learning disability.
