Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I studied Anthropology at Columbia University. I received a research fellowship and research grants during my time at the university, and I went on to live in Shanghai for a year. Currently, I work as an arts administrator in theater. I am an experienced pre-college prep instructor, and my most recent work experience focused on leading reading and writing enrichment courses, especially for students for whom English is not their first language. Additionally, I have experience tutoring AP Language and Composition, AP World History, and AP U.S. Government. I was an education consultant who helped students apply for and gain admission to the top 50 U.S. colleges and universities by assisting with admissions essays, mock interviews, and SAT/ACT test prep. I am passionate about helping students improve their ability to express their thoughts and ideas, and I strongly believe in encouraging students to advocate for their educational needs.
