Hi! I am a software engineer living in Spokane, WA. I held various math and CS teaching roles for several years and really enjoyed them, so I tutor just to continue working directly with students (and to keep myself sharp!). I love helping students understand mathematical concepts - my absolute moment is when a previously confused/frustrated student says "ooooohhh, I get it".

If you work with me, be prepared to work! I will give plenty of explanations, but then I'll ask you to explain them back. I'll write example problems for you, but then we'll solve them together. I'll teach you how to make an effective study guide for your test, but you'll be the one to actually make it. I will do everything I can to support you and give you the tools to succeed, but in the end, YOU are the key to success in your course!
