Hi there! My name is Sophie and I've been tutoring for the past two years. I'm currently a junior of Emory University working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Mathematics while also minoring in Women's & Sexuality Studies. I started working in my college's math center as a tutor for my fellow students in the spring semester of my freshmen year, and I then became a head tutor in my sophomore year. The position allowed me to work quick, one-time sessions, as well as, more intensive, consistent ones, and a mix. Outside of that, I weekly tutored an eighth-grade student in math in my sophomore year.
Evidently, math subjects are my forte, but test prep and test taking are among my strong suits as well.
I find tutoring to be incredibly rewarding and dynamic; both of which I consider myself lucky to experience in a work.
